Pump Control Unit :

The Pump Control Unit is a compact unit containing all the necessary fittings for easy installation:

Temperature Differential Controller
Three sensors
3-Speed Pump
Flow Meter
Check Valve
Pressure Relief Valve
Pressure Gauge
Filling Valve
Drain Valve

Operation:

The Controller will switch on the pump when the temperature at the collector sensor TC is higher than the return temperature TR by at least the pre selected amount.

The pump circulates a heat transfer fluid around the loop through the heat exchanger.

When a preset tank temperature (e.g.. 180 F, over heating protection) is reached at TT, the controller opens a discharge or diverting valve (not included in the package.

With the pump running, if delta T is less than preset value, the pump will switch off.

The Pump Control Unit (PCU) reduces the installation time and armed with 3/4" compression fittings and flexible hoses for easy connection of collector and storage tank to the pipe work.
